A conversion of an historic residence on Main Street, Warwick, into a commercial bank with drive-in teller services required extensive interior demolition while the traditional exterior architecture was preserved. An efficient open floor plan was created by concealing new steel beams in a first floor coffered ceiling and architecturally significant elements like hand hewn beams, wide plank floors and the original brick fireplace were incorporated into the interior design. This project received awards from the Orange County Realtor Association and the Westchester/ Mid Hudson Chapter of the AIA.
