    Project description

The ideal location for the new home of an established Honda Dealership had an old bowling alley/ sports bar originally slated for demolition. After careful evaluation the wood bow truss roof was reinforced with custom rolled steel members, the original brick foundation piers were integrated into the new two story Showroom Addition, and the bowling alley was re-purposed as the maintenance and service center. The Show Room Addition featured a 16’ high glass curtain wall and a sky-lit Mezzanine Level overlooking the showroom with Administrative Offices and Conference Room. Also featured was a unique curving 10,000 gallon aquarium enclosing a childrens’ play area. All new MEP systems were installed including a tempered air ventilation system and new radiant floor heating system in the Mechanics’ Service Area. Sophisticated electronic security and control systems were also installed throughout.
